Can I connect to the WiFi with my device?
In principle, any number of devices can be used in our WiFi. We use the WPA2 EAP (or WPA2 Enterprise) standard for our WiFi. Unfortunately, this is not supported by all end devices. If one of your devices is affected, please contact us. Together we will look for a solution to the problem.
How can I contribute?
We are always looking for volunteers to help us run the network.
Just join us in one of our office hours.
Is there WLAN in the entire facility?
Our WiFi networks "kaworoam" and "kaenguroam" are available in the entire facility. You can use it directly after your registration. In addition, we provide a LAN port in every room.
My network no longer works! What can I do?
Please check your network status independently in our Self-Service portal. If this does not solve your problem, please contact us. We will try to get to the bottom of the problem as soon as possible.
The WiFi reception in my room is not good. What can I do?
The dormitory is large and unfortunately we are not able to achieve perfect coverage with WiFi everywhere. We are constantly trying to improve the coverage and quality of our WiFi. If you have any suggestions regarding the WiFi or if you would like to help us to expand the WLAN infrastructure, please contact us. We are thankful for every help!
Please note: The use of your own WiFi router in our network is unfortunately not possible!
What happens when I leave?
Please inform us of your departure as soon as possible using the corresponding self-service function, and we will promptly transfer any available credit to a bank account of your choice.
Where and when do the office hours take place?
The consultation hours take place on Mondays at 7pm in the Kullenhof network office, Kullenhofstr. 60 and on Tuesdays at 8pm in the KaWo3 network office, Kastanienweg 10. You can also reach us at any time via the contact form.
